AviationExpo Europe, is proud to be welcoming a visit from the Royal Air Force throughout the 3-day event at Bitburg, 22-24th June. The aircraft that will be on display thoughout will be an aircraft from No:100 Squadron of the British Royal Air Force, based at RAF Leeming in Yorkshire, England. It will be flown by an exchange pilot from the US Air Force, Daniel Simpson.

The BAE Systems Hawk is a British single-engine, advancedjet trainer aircraft. It first flew in 1974 as the Hawker Siddeley Hawk. The Hawk is the primary fast-jet trainer used by the Royal Air Force, and other air forces. The aircraft can be used as either a trainer or a low-cost combat aircraft. The Hawk is still in production with over 900 Hawks sold to 18 customers around the world. The Hawk is the aircraft used by the famous RAF "Red Arrows" display team.
